Reflective Practice

I lead creative programmes for reflection, insight, and learning. This includes hosting reflective practice groups, teaching creative self-reflection tools, and running monthly creative writing workshops.

"The idea of care and creativity, and the invitation to make a calm, safe space for yourself, your writing and reflection was a radical offer."

— Helen Cole, CEO / Artistic Director, In Between Time (Creative Writing for Self-Care Retreat participant)

    The Reflective Journal: Drop-in Workshops

Monthly, online, drop-in writing workshops to spark your creativity and support reflection, insight, and expression. Come to as many or as few as you like.

    Little Books of Inspiration

Safe, fun, facilitated, online workshops combining making and writing to create little books celebrating all that sustains and nourishes. Each workshop will explore a different theme, supporting you to build your own library of personal inspiration.

"Jane's workshops have become my favourite monthly treat for myself […]. Working in community arts and academia whilst juggling life as a mum of three young children brings lots of pressure and exhaustion, at times compromising both my wellbeing and creativity. I now write daily, and enjoy connecting with writing regardless of what is currently happening in life. "

— Nicola McAteer - Community Music Practitioner and Researcher (The Reflective Journal participant)
