Reflective Co-Writing
Time to pause, write, and reflect – so you can regain calm, clarity, and focus
This free, weekly, co-writing hour is for creatives, leaders, and practitioners across arts, culture, health, and education who want to carve out dedicated space to write and reflect.
It offers a regular pocket of calm space in which you can step back from the busyness, gain clarity and perspective, returning to your day and week feeling more grounded and focused.
Why this matters
Do you often feel swamped or pulled in a hundred different directions?
Are you craving time to pause and take stock – or simply want an hour without interruptions to get your thoughts on paper?
In our busy lives, it’s easy to lose sight of what matters most. Making time for reflective writing helps you regain perspective, tune in to your own needs, and find the clarity and ease you need to move forward.
Many people are surprised by how much they get done, or how much perspective they gain, in the gentle structure of an hour collectively held with care.
"The idea of care and creativity, and the invitation to make a calm, safe space for yourself, your writing, and reflection was a radical offer. I learned so much from this process."

In just one focused hour, you will:
Arrive with others for a brief welcome and grounding exercise.
Spend most of the hour writing quietly alongside others on whatever matters to you.
Optionally respond to a simple reflective writing prompt provided by me if you prefer.
Close with a short transition activity to help you carry the calm and clarity into the rest of your day
There’s no pressure to share what you write – this is your time.

Your Facilitator
Hello, I’m Jane Willis, a creative health consultant, accredited coach and reflective writing facilitator.
Throughout my 30 year career across the arts, culture, and health sectors, reflective journal writing has been my anchor: a way to sift, sort, express, and make sense of life’s complexities.
I now create warm, inclusive spaces that enable others to regain clarity, creativity, and connection. I hold a master’s degree in creative writing for therapeutic purposes and am a qualified coach and writing facilitator. My approach combines evidence-based practices with creativity and compassion.
“It was such a wonderful session — really, really enjoyed it! You're a wonderful facilitator, Jane. It was so well paced and gentle. It really unlocked lots in me. Particularly related to my own arts practice.”
